Beaverton
located in southeastern Gladwin County at the junction of the Cedar and Tobacco Rivers. Founded in 1890 by Donald Gun Ross and sons. The town first named Grand Forks, because of its position on the 2 rivers, later named Beaverton by Ross's in tribute of their Canadian home town.
